Guidizzolo is located down the “Morainic Hills of Garda“
southwards on the slope that leads to the plain, with its fractions of Rebecco, Birbesi e Selvarizzo, with its charming theatre, the ancient parochial house, that still preserves traces of medieval frescos. The historical centre with a castra structure, includes Rizzini Palace and its a park. Southwards, towards the countryside, is the medieval oratory of Saint Laurence, with the inner walls frescoed with votive paintings that date back to 1450-1510 and resemble the style of Mantegna. Guidizzolo is located at the foot of “Colline Moreniche del Garda“, at the beginning of the Mantua plain, when the first horizon appear over the hills where you get to Lake Garda.
