Church of San Martino
The church of San Martino is located in a position where it dominates the Sarca valley, was built prior to the current town to serve the country Preole, which no longer exists.
Church of San Martino originally it was much reduced in size and the current was connected to a monastery of Benedictine monks since the ninth century. Is restored and enlarged in the sixteenth century and subsequently treated by the inhabitants, and only towards the end of ‘nineteenth century are discovered and brought to light the frescoes of the fourteenth century. These, attributed to the school of Bonanno Riva, playing a “last dinner” and various saints and Madonnas with child. There are also other frescoes of the sixteenth century.
