Sanctuary Madonna del Castello Carpenedolo is a seventeenth century building in Baroque style attributed to the architect Marchetti, but in the sanctuary there is the tomb of Giacomo Callegari, who in the chronicles of the construction is indicated as director of the works. The origins of the church are not certain, the previous building was the monastery of San Pietro in Monte, of ancient origins, where it was said as a hermit the bishop Silvino of the fifth century, Giacomo Malvezzi writes that the building was renovated by King Desiderio in the tenth century and another document says that it was renewed in the thirteenth. The entrance is raised and reached by a staircase, the churchyard is bordered by a balcony from which you can enjoy a beautiful view of the surrounding area. The plan of the building is spread over two aligned crosses, in the middle there are semi-columns that support the tiburio, equipped with windows that illuminate with the light of the sun at all times of the day.
