Pieve Santa Maria in Carpino it is a building of the IV or VI century but in a simple Romanesque style with an elegant apse in Botticino stone with pilasters and single-lancet windows; the façade is simple but has part of a fresco, in the masonry there are elements of re-employment with decorations from the high medieval and roman age. The interior is simple, with a single nave covered with a wooden structure and terracotta tiles supported by slightly pointed arches; in the apse there is a fresco of the fifteenth century that is believed to be by Bonifacio Bembo da Cremona;other frescoes depict Jesus enthroned with the Gospel and the four evangelists on the apse, a polyptych the Virgin with Child and little angels, in the choir a Saint Peter. Externally a small sailing bell tower.
