Church S.Maria Maddalena
Church S.Maria Maria Maddalena or Cathedral of Desenzano has the façade facing west and shows its right side with the bell tower at the main square Giuseppe Malvezzi.
The church of Santa Maria Maddalena, Cathedral of Desenzano, dates back to 1480, was rebuilt in 1586 to a design by G. Todeschini and consecrated in 1611 by the bishop of Verona, although the existence of the church has been proven since 1145 by the papal bull of Eugene III. The building has a facade in Gothic style with a Baroque gate of the eighteenth century, the interior is divided into three naves, the central one is covered by a barrel vault, which repeats the pattern of the arches in the left is the chapel in which houses the SS.
