Osservatorio astronomico di Cima Rest

The management of the Centre is entrusted to the Association of Amateur Astronomers Salo thanks to an agreement with the City of Maganey.
 
The Observatory is located at 13 meters, Cima Rest and consists of two separate structures:
 
One for the public and equipped with a Newton telescope from 37.5 cm in diameter open to F.4.5 housed in a sliding roof structure, which allows it to open up and let the telescope completely outdoors, with this tool you can in depth many objects and planetary deep-sky. The part dedicated to the public was made first and was efficient since 1997.
 
The other structure is unique to the work of research and observation of the association, is equipped with a 5.8 cm Newton telescope via computer controlled with pivoting head and housed in a self-built dome.
