Solferino fortress Spia d’Italia
The Solferino fortress Spia d’Italia is the tower which is located inside the park on top of the highest hill, where it is developing the town, in a panoramic position was built in 122 as a watchtower and bastion of protection.
Inside Solferino fortress or Spia d’Italia you will find relics that tell the history of the town since the time of the Gonzaga family here when they placed their Mint; are exposed weapons, dating back to the battle, the busts of the French generals and Auger Dieu, portraits of Napoleon III and Victor Emmanuel II. On top of the tower there is a rooftop terrace with explanatory panels that help to recognize the towers and other towers that can be seen in the distance.
