With the restoration of 1625 is represented on the stone portal of the church the event of the birth of Pope Adrian VI who was supposedly occurred right in Renzano.
Most of the interior frescoes dating back to the early fourteenth century, others to the sixteenth century, such as the beautiful Adoration of the Child with shepherds or the Madonna and Child Enthroned with Saints Sebastian and San Rocco pointing with his right hand wound caused from the plague, both probably the work of Giovanni Maria da Brescia.
