Chiesa dei SS.Fermo e Rustico
The church of SS.Fermo and Rustico is of medieval origin, it has been reported only from the fifteenth century, thanks to the visit of the bishop Ermolao Barbaro and served the village of Valgatara together with that of St. Stephen, however, remained decentralized, however, are not news on the building until the first half of the sixteenth century when, in reading Ordered (detailed account of the directions given to every church after the control visit) we see that the church was at that time no floor, no glass in the windows and the ‘adjacent cemetery was not fenced. The architecture of the church today is the nineteenth century. Created by Francesco Ronzani in 1854 that added two aisles and an apse round a building perhaps the fifteenth century. Then in 1944 on the orders of the ‘Architect Francesco Banterle the church was extended and raised to its present size. Only in December 1797 by the Church of SS.Fermo and Rustico was separated from the parish church of St. Florian.
