Palazzo Maggi
Maggi Palace is a remarkable architectural structure of the fraction of Cadignano, dating from the fifteenth century. It, with its rustic courtyards and residential units, occupies an entire block. It has one of the sixteenth century style, austere, enriched by precious ledge outside.
Its arched tower is elegant and allows you to look over the countryside.
At the entrance of the court rustic space becomes a portal built with bricks.
The interior is more refined, enhanced by the imposing frescoes by Lattanzio Gambara dating back to 156. Vaulted ceilings are always painted and decorated by artists such as Giulio Campi and others of Brescia school. There are many signs and the works that are done within witnesses elegant sixteenth-century architecture.
It stood then, in 1791, near the tower of the building, the small church dedicated to the blessed Sebastian Maggi, whose decorations take as a model the style of Corbellini.
