Puegnago Castle: to the east of the residential area of the village of Castle, stood between the ninth and tenth centuries the castle of Puegnago that these hills was able to dominate the lake and defend the inhabitants from the barbarian invasions. Of this ancient fortification does not remain today that the remains, although it is commonly called a castle. His simple cobblestone walls outline a sprawling, vaguely hexagonal, that to fit the slope of the hill. At each corner of the walls there is a rectangular tower. The bell tower called Spy Valtenesi was built in 1827 in place of the old keep, the main tower, and in 1831 there were inserted the bells. The surrounding land is now occupied by a vineyard.
