Roman Villa Toscolano
Roman Villa Toscolano
of Marcus Nonius Macrinus was only partially brought to light
Roman Villa Toscolano: the visible part is the southern one of the structure, even if it was possible to go back to the site plan. The villa is in the first century after Christ and was to consist of three buildings, the main one in porch in the direction of the lake and two lateral bodies, the porch looked out onto an open space where it was placed inside a tub of about 47 mt.
The villa was remodeled on several occasions until the fifth century, but it was towards the middle of the second century that is supposed to belong to one of the most prominent families of Brescia, one of Marcus Nonius Macrinus, to date there is still much to discover.
