Basilica di San Sebastiano

The church of San Sebastiano is located inside the castle of Castiglione, past the face of the tower, on top of a short flight of steps, was built in 1577 by the Marquis Ferrante Gonzaga, father of St. Louis, for having escaped the plague. In 168, Cynthia, Olympia and Gridonia Gonzaga, grandchildren of St. Louis here we voted to God by establishing the College of the noble Virgin of Jesus Between 161 and 1679 it housed the relic of St. Louis and became Basilica.
