Church San Giovanni in Loffa
Church San Giovanni in Loffa
in Sant’Anna d’Alfaedo in Valpolicella, Italy
Church San Giovanni in Loffa, as indicated by Don Campostrini built in 1131, is engraved however, on a stone ball on the main door of a date which shall be read, however, only three digits, thus leaving the question; it seems there was a little below the previous round but then destroyed by time. A little further on, however, it seems there was a cemetery of the parish where, in 163, were buried the dead of the plague of that year. Inside are the remains of Guido Antonio Maffei and Don Gio Batta Simeon three marble altars, an altarpiece with figures of three saints.
