Art on streets – Competition madonnari on tour

7 stages – seven cities – from May 10 to August 10, 2015

Pictorial event articulated in a contest madonnari touring seven cities of Lake Garda and the province of Mantua; patecipanti students of art schools, schools of madonnari, Accademi fine arts. The paintings to be performed using the classic technique of madonnari, ie with dry colors such as chalks, pastels, powder, and then without the use of sprays, oils, water colors and even water for the gradient of the colors. It is up to each municipality to decide the time and date of the project start and end of the stage, as well as the theme; in bad weather it can be expected to place indoor or postponement of the stage.

Calendar of the stages of “Art on streets” with its themes

1° Stage – May 10 – Cignano of Offlaga (BS) “The nobility and the food”: The Review of madonnari is inserted in the heart of the festival of the “Second of May” from 9:00 to 18:00
2° Stage – May 17 – Sabbioneta (MN) “The family of Vespasian Gonzaga” Sabbioneta the city of artists – The city turns into an open air gallery ideal city a World Heritage Site from 9.00 to 19.00
3° Stage – June 21 – Montichiari (BS) “San Pancrazio”: The city becomes an ‘arena for artists from 9:00 to 19:00
4° Stage – 5 July – Castel Goffredo (MN) “Open the book”: Castel Goffredo Renaissance city in the heart of the high Mantua from 17.00 to 24.00
5° Stage – July 11 – Rivoltella di Desenzano (BS) “422 years of Arcimboldo”: from 9.00 to 22.00
6° Stage – July 26 – Vallio Terme (BS) “Madonna del Mangher”: between nature and culture, the country offers its teritory as canvas prestigious beauty to the street performers – from 9.00 to 18.00
7° Stage – Aug. 10 – Grand Final: Toscolano Maderno (BS) “Sant’Ercolano”: from 8.00 to 22.00
