Chuch Saints Pietro and Paolo
Chuch Saints Pietro and Paolo
in the heart of Brentonico town
Chuch Saints Pietro and Paolo is one of the most important of Trentino, mentioned already in the 12th century: the entrance is protected by a porch atrium that protects the portal of 1532, the bell tower is made up of squared stone stones, Romanesque biforeal and cusp cover in cooked Veronese. Inside the church of St. Peter and Paul has a single nave with six local marble altars, the main altar is Castione marble and is supported by red stone lions. The XVIII century organ of Giovanni Bertè of Brentonico, with friezes and sculptures on the wooden chest, is worthy of note, the Brentonico coat of arms supported by two bastions on the central panel and five paintings of sixteenth-century wood.
