Chiesa di S. Maria dei Disciplini della pace

The church of S. Mary of the Discipline is built by the Brotherhood after the decision, in 1771, deputies to the factory of the parish church (the Cathedral) to add a new part to it. The brotherhood rebuilt at his own expense a church and was given permission to use for the reconstruction of marble parts of the demolished Chapel of the Blessed Sacrament. The designer of the new church was Giovan Battista Croppi, who also designed the new Collegiate.
The church was damaged during the earthquake of 24, but thanks to timely intervention, has returned to its beauty.
