Chiesa di S.Martino
The parish church was built in Gargnano to Brescia by the famous architect Rodolfo Valentini. It was built in an elliptical shape with a lot of two majestic domes in 1837, stands on the site of an earlier church, an ancient Roman chapel probably dated to the Eleventh Century. Imposing colonnades characterize the façade, while the interior of the church, originally divided into three naves and characterized by eight altars, today introduced a single nave with five altars.
Are preserved here The Last Supper by Veronese, several paintings by Giovanni Andrea Bertanza, Andrea Celestial, Gianbettino Cignaroli and several works of fifteenth-century Lombard footprint.
Its bell tower was built already in 1722, while 1811 is the organ of Louis Montesanti, renovated in 196.
