Church Beata Vergine Assunta and Sant’Emiliano current was built between 1714 and 1720,
but during some excavations have been found under the pavement, elements of a Romanesque building probably the first church of Casaloldo that, from historical documents would be named after Mary. A second church was then built in the same area as the first around the fifteenth or sixteenth century, depicted in the painting depicting the battle of Casaloldo, which is located in the current church and which was executed in 1717, a few years after the demolition of the second church. The current church has a single nave with a barrel vaulted ceiling, lunettes have been inserted into the skylights, the presbytery has a square and raised plan and the side chapels result from the use of the lateral spaces.
