Church Madonna della Fontana
Church Madonna della Fontana
On the Gardesana in the direction of Val di Sogno
Church Madonna della Fontana it would be Madonna del Rosario, but as it is close to a fountain but also because it stands where once there was a pool of water, which still exists under the rectangular stone of the floor in the first decades of the sixteenth in this place there was a chapel dedicated to the Blessed Virgin, which was always kept up with the alms of the faithful and with time they increased so much that we had to enlarge the building in the seventeenth century. It was once full of votive paintings of the faithful who donates to thank the graces and favors received, but with time these were sold to honor the debts and now has remained bare. The church has a single nave with eight side chapels occupied by six altars and the central chapel with an altar. Outside, a bell tower with a rectangular base with a window on the short sides and two on the long ones.
