Church of St.George, which is in the locality of S.Giorgio, dates back to the 14th century. The structure is made up of a single classroom with Romanesque apse, semicircular; The façade was subsequently changed towards the end of the sixteenth century, a pronaos was added at the beginning of the seventeenth century; It houses interesting 14th-century frescoes, especially on the left wall, where the figure of a saint, perhaps Santa Catherine, with a red dress and elegant portraiture stands out, on the same wall the San Giorgio fresco that frees the princess from dragon; In the background a rocky landscape with a church and a castle, recalling Manerba. San Giorgio was the protector of the knights, the soldiers, the armies; People who have been in the past for a long time in these areas. It enjoys a beautiful panoramic position near the shores of the lake, and is open on some occasions such as the celebration of St. George’s Day, which runs on April 23rd.
