Church S.Bartolomeo
in Tiarno di Sotto in Ledro Valley, in its present form is the mid-nineteenth century, but there is memory in some documents of a small church in the mid-fourteenth century, which was then repeatedly restored and enlarged.
Church S.Bartolomeo on the outside stands a bell tower over seventy feet in stone, inside the building has a single nave and contains a number of valuable paintings: a nice paddle on the ‘altar, dated 1587, consisting of a Madonna and Child in the middle, above the Crucifixion, sides, and rear St. Bartholomew and St. George, are located on the side of the altarpiece of the Madonna depicting the Visitation, the Nativity, the Adoration of the Magi and a presentation of Jesus at the temple above the side doors are placed a Last Supper and a Descent of the Holy Spirit. Of exquisite workmanship are the side altars, adorned with mosaics of the seventeenth and eighteenth century.
