Church S.Maria Assunta
inside the walls of the old city of Riva del Garda, it is mentioned for the first time in documents of the twelfth century, a parchment dated June 1106
Church S.Maria Assunta, originally from the twelfth century, the bell tower was completed only in the fifteenth century and the cemetery behind the same period. In the last years of the seventeenth century was enriched with the stucco work by Michele Costa; completely redone in 1727 on a project by Cipriano Tacchi, the works were completed only two decades later with the consecration in 1747. Inside there is a single nave with eight side chapels with baroque altars, the statue of Our Lady of Sorrows of the 16th century and the altarpiece of the Assumption of the neoclassical painter rivano Craffonara
