Church Saints Benigno e Caro
in the hamlet Cassone of Malcesine
Church Saints Benigno e Caro of Cassone is not a big church, but is well proportioned, existing at the end of the XV century, is named in the report of the Pastoral Visit of October 1532. It has a single nave and is paved with tiles tablets in various colors and a coffered ceiling painted fake. Inside, three altars, the main one is dedicated to SS. Benigno and Caro, while the two side are marble and are inside the chapels. What about the gospel has a niche with the image of Our Lady of the Rosary, while the front door with a canvas S. Heart of Jesus in the air, S. Luigi and s. Anthony of Padua to the ground. 17 is the bell tower with a round door in the belfry. Today it is used as an oratory by the various brotherhoods.
