Church San Apollinare
The church San Apollinare is located in the hamlet of Prabi, its news on documents start towards the fourteenth century but various factors date it around the VIII-IX century.
Church San Apollinare; in the fourteenth century it was entrusted to monks and then passed it under the control of the Pieve di Arco. In the second half of the sixteenth century it was found in a state of neglect by the bishop’s messengers, who gave orders to restore it; task that was carried out by Msgr. Alessandro Zanoni. In the eighteenth century is given in management to the hermits who bring it back in the previous conditions of degradation, so it is closed to worship until 1882, when the archpriest Chini takes care of restoring it; a subsequent intervention in 1983 brought it to its current state. Both outside and inside there are some valuable frescoes of the XIV century but not only, as they partly overlap, they are supposed to be from the Bonanno di Riva school.
