Church San Giorgio Martire
The church San Giorgio Martire was built between 1857 and 1762 in neoclassical style using as a base the remains of the ancient Roman chapel of Santa Maria that probably dated from the twelfth century and was built inside the castle of Colà.
It depended on the parish church of Sandrà until the middle of the 16th century when, for security reasons due to the decline of the Lanzichenecchi between 1526 and 1530 and greater convenience for the population, it became a parish church under the title of Santa Maria and San Giorgio. Inside there are 5 altars and some blades including San Giorgio with the Virgin and the last Supper dell’Ugolini.
