Church San Giovanni Battista
The church is located in Pacengo, built to replace a previous one dating back to before the second decade of the sixteenth century
Church San Giovanni Battista dates back to 1792 and was designed in neoclassical style by the architect Leonardo Rossi who designed it with the temple façade, consisting of four half-stones of Ionic style; inside, the church has a single rectangular nave, rhythmic by pilasters and semi-columns of Corinthian order, the paving is in squares of Verona red marble and Botticino marble; there are various paintings by Pio Piatti depicting the Four Evangelists, the Nativity and the frescoes on the Life of John the Baptist. The bell tower is flanked on the eastern side of the building.
