Church Santa Maria Assunta
The church Santa Maria is the parish church of the village and is of very ancient construction, dates back to before 1178, when it is found on some documents of the time
Church Santa Maria Assunta is assumed to be part of the castle of Ala, then destroyed in the course from the Middle Ages for the rivalries between the Castelbarco and the prince bishops of Trento, it was later consecrated in 1468 by the prince bishop Giovanni Hinderbach. Reconstruction and renovation works were carried out at the beginning of the sixteenth century and then in the second decade of the seventeenth, while the bell tower was added in 1667-70 by Domenico Bianchi. Gable facade divided into three orders, a staircase leads to the portal with architrave and statue of the Madonna; inside the church has a single nave with six main chapels, two minor and semicircular apse, the vault of the nave is completely frescoed.
