Feast of St Gaetano

The Feast of St Gaetano goes back at least to 1897, as shown by a poster of the time; It began as a cattle fair, crafts and other goods, with the awarding of the best animal. Excluding the years of the First World War and Fascism, the event takes place regularly every year; immediately after the Second World War the fair is reviewed by keeping its main feature of exposure of cattle, but from time to time adding some new features such as stalls and various kinds of sweets.
Over the years the Feast of St Gaetano has left more and more exposure of cattle for the food stands and appearance of partying with the addition of live music and rides.
