Colombo Cave
The Cave of Colombo is an archaeological site first discovered by Paolo Orsi, an archaeologist of Rovereto, in 1881 and subsequently expanded with the excavations of 197 by the Circle of Prehistoric Rovereto which is located at the base of Castion Doss, an offshoot of Mount Baldo to the valley of the Cameras. Paolo Orsi, at the time, became interested in the information that concerned the finding in this area of ̷̷the remains of pottery, bones, pottery and a stone ax, so decided to start the excavations.
