Heller Garden- A. Hruska
A short walk from the center we find the Hruska botanical garden that has several species of alpine flora. On a plot of 1, square meters located on the slopes of Mount Lavino is a collection of over 2, plants from all continents and from all climatic zones. The famous physician and naturalist Arthur Hruska has developed this paradise between 191 and 1971 by building artificial lakes streams covered by streets filled with water lilies and fish all immersed in a landscape of the Dolomites recreated in miniature. Then in 1988 the artist André Heller bought the land with the adjoining villa to create a center of ecological knowledge.
