Loppio lake
On the road between Mori and Nago it is on the right side of the road
Loppio lake it is a so-called marshy area where there was a pond that dried up when it was built in the fifties the Adige-Garda tunnel that connects the Adige valley with Lake Garda. It was once called the lake of Sant’Andrea and took its name from the small island where a small church was built in 1138. In 1439 the Venetian ships passed here, transported by land from the Adige to Lake Garda in the enterprise that took the name of Galeas for montes.
