Manerba del Garda buildings
House in via Leutelmonte: (XVI century) It is a very rustic and elementary house in its skeletal manifestation, but which we deem necessary to point out as an example of a civil and rural house at the same time of this agricultural area of the Garda Riviera. Unhappy is the ground floor with the two arches of porch very low, pleasant instead that double portico with pillars and arches in the first sector and in baltresca in the second. A similar construction, even cruder, is found, always in the Riviera, in Gargnano.
House Belgioioso: (XVI century) On the extreme tip of the small peninsula that stretches towards the island of the Rabbits, stands this strange house with an indefinable style that can, however, lead to classify it between the fifteenth and seventeenth centuries. It is however a remarkable building for that central body of a certain power, with those beautiful windows of the second floor with square splaying. The central body is surrounded by a portico, with sparse round arches and large masonry pillars above which there is a loggia with pillars that support the wing of the short roof. Perhaps an addition of not much later. It is still called Villa Beljoioso by the noble Milanese family who probably will have inhabited it. Today it is owned by the Bagasacchi family.
