Palace Gelmetti was built in the early nineteenth century by the noble family Gelmetti of which it was the residence
Palace Gelmetti it was rented and then purchased by the Municipality in 1888 as the Town Hall, externally it is a building with simple and severe lines embellished by the presence of the clock on the top of the facade; entering the central atrium you can see many gravestones in memory of the famous people who stayed here, Carlo Alberto in 1848, Napoleone Terzo e Camillo Benso Conte di Cavour in 1859, Giuseppe Garibaldi in 1862, Alberto Arciduca d’Austria in 1866 and others; there are also beautiful frescoed rooms.
