Pinacoteca Pasinetti Lauro and Antonio
The Pinacoteca Pasinetti Lauro and Antonio was strongly supported by Laura Pasinetti,
nephew of the painter Antonio (1863-1940) which donated to the city of Montichiari the family heritage of over four hundred works originally preserved in the painter’s Atelier in Milan. Artist always dressed elegantly and with a serene soul, a major exhibition of his works was organized by his son Lauro in Milan in 1942 with the support of a great admirer and friend of the painter, Giovanni Treccani of Alfieri. The Pinacoteca Pasinetti is now housed in the former city hospital, an elegant neoclassical lines building.
