San Paolo Hermitage
The hermitage of San Paolo is located on the road to Prabi, it is a simple building, set in a cove in the rock, with a single nave, a side room intended for hermits, a small terrace and a staircase which joins the side room to another room below.
San Paolo Hermitage: The church is already documented on 9 April 1186 with the consecration of the altar, the building consists of a nave with the rock ceiling, only this room has been painted. The history of the San Paolo is a succession of dropouts and recoveries until the town of Arco and restauralo decide to buy it, thus recovering the fine frescoes depicting the Last Supper and the life of St. Paul.
