In Torri del Benaco on Lake Garda
Tanella CaveĀ is located in the woods near Pai di Sopra, on the slopes of Mount Baldo and is accessed by an artificial tunnel; Inside there is a water mirror created by a perennial source, stalagmite and stalactites. The cave had become a tourist destination since the 1930s and its water was used to feed the municipal aqueduct until the late sixties, when from the analysis it became clear that environmental pollution on the Baldo also affected the purity of the ground.
