Villa Carlotti
Villa Carlotti
in the heart of Caprino Veronese between lake Garda and mount Baldo
Villa Carlotti originates from a patrician villa of the seventeenth century, transformed into a palace at the end of the century, with embellishments and enlargements, then passed into the hands of Canossa (relatives) and daughter, shewn nun gave it to the common . Currently it is the Town and is also home to the City Museum, which is home to historical records of the place. By the time I lost a garden, a park and a turret which was also a symbol of Goat. Inside you can see: the Hall of Dreams (Hall Grotesque), painted; various rooms of the first floor are painted on the ceiling with figures of seventeenth-century style, the walls are of stucco frames to outline frescoes (as if they were paintings ) depicting hunting scenes with the presence of strange animals oriental as well as the clothes of various shapes. Interesting and valuable even sculptures.
