Villa Carrara Bottagisio is a nineteenth century building, a chaste and hybrid building of the nineteenth century large and composed of several buildings with a total area of 3500 square meters, from the seventeenth to the nineteenth century has undergone significant changes and extensions; inside there are interesting pictorial decorations, it has a beautiful wooded park that runs along the lake and occupies the whole northern part of the Bardolino bay. Originally intended as a residence, the Villa Carrara Bottagisio is currently owned by the Municipality of Bardolino, which has been used as a municipal library, in its large park some city events take place.
