Villa Scappini
This particular 16th century villa was originally owned by the abbey of San Zeno, when the feudal division made Pastrengo linked to San Zeno.
Villa Scappini inside, the double loggia takes us back to the typical style of the Valpolicella structures, while in the courtyard, to the left of the building, stands a high tower, called the colombaron for its function as a dovecote, built or placed in the early 16th century , with a square base of almost ten meters on each side and a large room on the ground floor covered by an umbrella vault on pediments carved with cherubs and masks.
