Villa Serego is located in the resort of Santa Sofia, is a Palladian villa designed by Andrea Palladio and built in 1565, included in the UNESCO heritages in 1996, was commissioned by the great architect Marcantonio Serego for her marriage to Geneva Alighieri in 1549, descendant of Dante Alighieri. The building is derived from the processing of a fourteenth-century building of considerable size which was owned by the Della Scala family and then donated to the family Serego; is a two-storey arcades characterized by the presence of Ionic columns that have a rusticated finish rings of different heights from the ground and come to support the gable of the roof. To complete the villa there is a large park and an ‘old church prior to both buildings, where there are frescoes of the early ‘300.
